Ved Midnat (1995)
Den rige enkemand Richard Keaton ansætter den unge enke Liz som nanny for sin elveårige og desuden videnskabsinteresserede søn Andrew, med tydelige instruktioner ikke belemre dem med spørgsmål. Jo mere Liz finder ud af om moderens påståede selvmord, desto mere sikker bliver hun på, at der ligger en forbrydelse bag. Og Richards kølige forhold til sin søn gør at Andrew vender sig mere og mere til Liz. Men den rigtige fare ankommer med Richards bror Blain.

At the Midnight Hour (1995)
Romantic drama based on a Mills and Boon Harlequin romance. Patsy Kensit stars as young English au pair Liz Guinness, who arrives at the mansion of brilliant widowed scientist Richard Keaton (Simon MacCorkindale) to look after his gifted but troubled son Andrew (Keegan MacIntosh). While trying to reconnect father and son, who have become emotionally distant, Liz begins to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of Richard's wife - and at the same time finds herself falling for him. Further complications arise when Richard's brother, writer Blain (Lindsay Merrithew), arrives with his friend Jillian (Cynthia Dale) to sell the ancestral estate against Richard's wishes.
The Awakening (1995)
Romantic drama based on a Mills and Boon Harlequin romance. Sara (Cynthia Geary) is a hard-working, responsible young woman who runs a boarding house in her small home town. Her dull, orderly life is turned upside down by Flynn (David Beecroft), a handsome bounty hunter who arrives in town on the trail of one of Sara's tenants, who turns out to be a convicted smuggler of antiques. A wild adventure ensues as the pair team up to catch the missing man.
Broken Lullaby (1994)
Romantic drama based on a Mills and Boon Harlequin romance. Mel Harris stars as Jordan Kirkland, a divorced New York genealogist whose aunt, cosmetics queen Kitty Ridgewood (Vivien Reis), asks her to track down a priceless Faberge-egg music box which she believes holds the secret to her mysterious past. Jordan travels to Milan, where she is aided in her investigation by handsome art dealer Nicholas Rostov (Rob Stewart). |
